Retro Entry – Sashimi Anyone?

Ah-ha!

This one i like writing about. On the same day I was at KLCC, a bunch of us went to makan-makan at Saisaki. My favourite place for Japanese Buffet, despite the fact that they do not have a smoking section inside the restaurant. You would have to pollute yourself and other smokers at a small section just outside the restaurant (where you would also park yourself like, a few hours before the restaurant opens because you didn’t have reservation and therefore would have to  bulldoze anyone or anything in your way in order to get a table).

Saisaki and i have a love-hate relationship. I love it because the amount of food is staggering, my mouth goes into auto-salivation everytime i think of Saisaki. Yet I hate it because everytime I go there, I would get full before I could try everything on the menu. I’d gorge on Salmon sashimi and unagi, and then little bits here and there, and I’d be full. *Sigh*.

But here’s a look at only some of what they had to offer:*continues writing while holding bucket under mouth to collect drool*  No matter how much space it will take, i simply MUST have the pictures big ok?

As soon as you enter, you will be greeted by a large selection of sushi and sashimi…

 I think this is chicken…

unagi! unagi! UNAGI! (This entry is a dangerous one, because i suddenly feel like going to Saisaki..NOW!!)

deep fried calamari i think..

And those are just the ones that I managed to take pictures of ya?

haiyo. the drool keeps coming.

Retro Entry – Chinese New Year

I like Retro music. Maybe because when I first heard them, they weren’t retro. They were current. They were in. They were baaaaaad. *sigh* I am just as retro as the retro songs i like eh?.

Aaaaanyways, this is a retro entry as CNY has long gone. But neeverrr minddd..we’ll just traipse along memory lane ya? (never gonna gifff  yuuu appp, never gonnaaa lett yuuuuu downnnn.. that was Rick Astley, I just know someone will be wondering).

it was a long break we had, for CNY. On the first day of the holiday, giant naive ol’ me thought it would be fun to go to town. Holiday what? Everyone will be away, right? I can happy happy jump skip and hop everywhere right?

TETTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT.

Wrong.

Every Non-Malaysian on two legs went to town. Central market was jam-packed with people from every walks of life from many, many nations.

So was KLCC…..

CNY KLCC crowd

Especially when there was a Lion Dance going on.

See how crowded it was down there? i got to do a bit of shopping though, despite the crowd.

Then we all got to see the lions in action.

Getting ready….

Standing…

Doing stunts…

It was short but exciting.

*Sigh* I’m so awful with retro entries….
