Knit Knotes: Of Booties and Ben 10’s

Oh wow. I finally have some time to blog. I have a lot of things to tell, but suddenly suddenly I am way to busy to even glance at my own blog.

Butttt since I’m here, let’s get some knotes out to a few people!

1. Craftbits.com. THANK YOU so much for visiting me! i really am truly honoured. BUT, I am also deeply embarassed! Ahahahaha! Yes, I currently have only ONE baby shoe. I will totally ignore that totally un-Mary Jane bootie in yellow that i made. But am summoning up the courage to make another shoe so i have a pair. hah!

2. Ben 10 fans. Do you know (obviously u don’t eh?) that the Ben 10 post is the most viewed? To think that my main motive was to report on the birthday celebration eh?

Anyways darlings, I happen to be in Malaysia, so unless all of yous are as well, I am so sorry, I can’t help you. The cake was from a cake shop, well, most cake shops here are able to do some Ben 10 designs for you. The watch? RM10 or thereabouts. (Sorry Queen Mummy, but you’ve always known your sister is a cheapskate kan?? ahahahah).

But to be fair, last year, i had to look high and low for the Ben 10 stuff. In fact, when the Prince told me what he wanted, i didn’t even know what Ben 10 was. Thank goodness for internet and Astro (I actually watched a few episodes to get a feel of Ben 10 u know?)And all of us ended up buying the same things for the Prince.

Nowadays there are soooo many things available. Masks, figurines, watches, what-have-you. But I think the Prince is into some other super hero now.

Oh dear. This post alone took most of the night. And i have sooo many other things to blog about.. *sigh*

The Prince of Aliens – A Royal Report

‘Twas on a sunny Saturday afternoon that the Queen Mummy summoned us to the Royal Courts, with the usual proclamation, “Bring Presents!”. And the Prince himself stood in all his glory at Le Grand Entrance to ensure that we adhere to his command. Even Royal Granma and Royal Granpa were not spared, mind you.

Only after inspection were we  admitted to the Palace. The Queen Mummy went Al Italia this year, much to my satisfaction (heh), with spaghetti, baked macaroni (sedap la Mak, oops I mean Royal Granma), garlic bread, nuggets, drummets, and pulut kuning and sambal (courtesy of Royal Wan on King Daddy’s side).

 

 sigh… I hate doing food blogs you know? Makes me hungry *momentary lapse as Royal Writer wipes drool off PC*

Yes, back to the report.

The Royal Princes and Princess would have to begin the Royal Feast, but of course. The seating arrangment took awhile, since all must be seated in A Royal Row (and according to King A’s desired seating arrangment).

Only then could we sample the feast. I ate and ate (nothing new about that, except this time i did get some pictures before i demolished them all ha-HA).

There were the usual chats and mingling of course, the main topic being, “did you get him what he wanted?” and  “soo susah, i went all over town!”

That was the cue for us to move along with the agenda of course. Royal Highnesses are not a patient lot, you know.

hooookayyyy, we open the presents.

 

Oh yes, among the guests present are:

Ben 10,

Four Arms from Ben 10,

Another alien from Ben 10 (will check with The Prince the name of the alien),

oh, and Ben 10.

And thus the Royal Feast ended with zest and screams, as per every year.

We now await the next Happy Day for the next Highness, with bated breaths of course!
